Power Flushing
Professional power flushing to clear sludge and restore efficiency to older or sluggish central heating systems across South Wales.

Power flushing chemically cleanses your central heating system to remove sludge and debris, restoring circulation and efficiency. We use Magnacleanse and Kamco Quantum equipment and finish with a corrosion inhibitor.
What's included
- Magnacleanse (sealed systems) and Kamco Quantum CF90 (older systems)
- Removes sludge, debris and contaminants
- System treated with corrosion inhibitor
- Improves reliability, efficiency and radiator warmth
- Recommended with new boiler installations
- ATAG Installer
- Vaillant Advance Installer
- Glow-worm Installer
- Baxi Main
Every job is carried out by our Gas Safe registered engineers, installing and servicing boilers in Newport, Cardiff, Cwmbran and across South Wales since 2007.
What happens when you book
Connect the machine
The flushing machine, Magnacleanse on sealed systems or Kamco Quantum CF90 on older ones, is connected to your central heating circuit.
Chemical clean
A cleansing chemical is circulated through the pipework and radiators to break down sludge and debris.
Flush through
The system is flushed through, radiator by radiator where needed, until the water runs clear.
Inhibitor added
A corrosion inhibitor is dosed into the system before it's refilled, to help protect it going forward.

Power Flushing: common questions
- What does power flushing actually do?
- It chemically cleanses your central heating system to remove sludge, debris and contaminants, which restores circulation and efficiency and gets the radiators warm across their whole surface again. We finish by treating the system with a corrosion inhibitor.
- What equipment do you use?
- Magnacleanse on sealed systems and Kamco Quantum CF90 on older ones, so the method matches the system rather than the other way round.
- Do I need a power flush with a new boiler?
- Not always. A full system chemical flush is already inside our boiler package prices. A power flush is the deeper clean an older, sludged system needs, so it is listed as a separately priced optional extra rather than hidden in the headline figure.
- How do I know if I need a power flush?
- Common signs are radiators that are cold at the bottom or in patches, a boiler that's noisier than it used to be, or a system that takes longer to warm up than it did.
- Is a power flush the same as a service?
- No. A power flush addresses sludge and circulation in the system; a service is the annual safety and efficiency check on the boiler itself. Many customers have both done, but they're different jobs.
